Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon to join the growing team at Orthopedic Specialists of New Jersey, a premier practice affiliated with the Hackensack Meridian Health network. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume practice and become a member of our expanding network. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive clinical and surgical care for patients with hip and knee conditions.
  • Perform primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, including robotic-assisted surgery.
  • Cover a balanced schedule of approximately 2-3 clinic days and 2-3 OR days per week, depending on volume.
  • See patients at a selection of our office locations, which include Paramus, Montvale, North Bergen and Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.
  • Perform surgeries at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) and the Hackensack Musculoskeletal Surgical Center,Participate in a call schedule of approximately 2-4 nights per month.
  • Engage in the teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students.

Qualifications:

  • M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction (Hip and Knee Replacement)
  • Must have or be able to obtain an active NJ Medical License, CDS, and DEA

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
