Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist

Hackensack Meridian Health, Bayshore Medical Center, is seeking a compassionate and experienced full-time Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist to join our collaborative team at Bayshore Medical Center in beautiful Holmdel, New Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to provide vital psychiatric consultation services within a community hospital environment.
Position Overview:
The Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment recommendations to patients within the medical and surgical units of Bayshore Medical Center. The psychiatrist will also evaluate patients who enter through emergency psychiatric services. They will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure the optimal care of patients with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
